    Mooooose

The only man that wants to see Mike Mussina enter the Hall of Fame more than me is Mike Mussina. Moose was always my guy, and always will be my guy. If he gets enough votes today, I'll cry real happy man tears.

I dislike the hall of fame voting process intensely. HALL OF FAME SHOULD BE FOR THE ELITE. This means Greg Maddux and Mike Piazza only. The fact that Piazza is clustered with the PED losers is a joke. He should've been 1st ballot HOF'er

i doubt he even cares to be honest.

most athletes dont care about individual awards and stuff of that nature.

Hall of Fame dont mean a damn thing anymore. I wish they would burn that place down if
they are not going to put Bonds and Clemens in there.

burn it down? obviously you have never been to Cooperstown. it is amazing.

and Nasher, you are a strange dude bro. a grown man crying over another man getting into the HOF?

a little quote from A Bronx Tale " Mickey Mantle? Is that what you're upset about? Mickey Mantle makes $100,000 a year. How much does your father make? You don't know? Well, see if your father can't pay the rent go ask Mickey Mantle and see what he tells you. Mickey Mantle don't care about you, so why should you care about him? Nobody cares"

    You don't know me yet.
Of course not, it's just my way of writing.

Loved the Moose though, was so clutch.

Don't know about the HOF but loved everything about Moose...great teammate/character guy and big game pitcher. I got to bat off of him as a kid at Stanford baseball camp after he had just finished his senior year at Stanford. He threw gas to 6 of us for 3 pitches each. Fouled one off...felt like a champ.

No way he'll be getting in, at least in the near future. It's not Hall of Above Average, it's Hall of FAME

Look at his career numbers again, and tell me if they are just above average?

Moose was also victimized by the work stoppage in 93 and 94
Would have won back to back 20 those years.

Graduated from the same high school as me... Many don't know that he was one hell of a kicker in high school and Penn State wanted him as a place kicker...but Stanford rolled in with a baseball scholarship!

Graduated Stanford in 3.5 years, got across the board 4.0 grades and got his advanced degree in like I said, 3.5 years.

My father in law met him at the national crossword championships, he can do those in 3 minutes.

Mussina not a Hall of Famer.
300 wins woulda got him in.
    Homer post here by Nasher.
Great career, was lucky enough to have unbelievable run support while pitching OK for the Yanks, but nothing outstanding by any means.
Was way better with the Orioles.
I think MLB is letting ppl like him sneak in because of the steroid era and punishing guys like Clemens, Bonds, McGwire- who should all be in the HOF first-ballot.
They were all HOF players before steroids.
I don't disagree with them being punished, they should get stalled out for a few years, but it doesn't mean you let above average players in because of it.
HALL OF FAME should actually mean something.
