    Not that ilike the yanks but never understood why they traded Jesus Montero to Seattle a couple years ago. Guy had great hitting potential.

    it was a no brainer. When you can get a pitcher for a player gotta make the trade. Too bad Pineda hasn't been healthy.

    with that being said its a great signing for the Yankees. They needed a catcher badly

    This die hard Yankee fan hates (well hate is too harsh) loathes McCann and I'd rather see Eli 'useless' Whitehead before him catch.

    These types moves keeps making me drift away from my favorite team.

    That's OK, professional sports has turned so corporate these days, makes it easier for me to stay loyal to the dollar and the dollar only, myself

    Red Sox have proved they can win the World Series by outspending everyone AND by taking the road less 'traveled' approach.

    I don't understand how the Yanks are going to get under $189M payroll, yet they still want McCann, Beltran, Ellsbury, Cano and Shoo.
