2013 World Series Champions: BOSTON RED SOX

    Boston just too explosive.
    Too many weapons..
too much facial hair for the Cardinals*
    Bullpen too solid...
    home field advantage
    base stealing..

too many factors favor the Red Sox.

how would the Cardinals beat them.?

    Dodgers beat themselves largely, imo

    Red Sox up 3-2

looks like this would be over.. if not for the Breslow innings.

maybe it happened for a reason..
so that it could happen AT Fenway. in front of everybody

    if that happens.. wow

after that obstruction call.. i thought: "this is just gonna piss the Red sox off"

like.. "ok.. screw the close game, and the Umps, gotta win this outright"

    and they have really.

i see Breslow never even warmed up. good call*

also, who gets the MVP if the Sox do manage to close it out?

    Ortiz or Lester?

I think it has to be Ortiz. Too bad I didn't bet that prop.

    i think 6

the fans will be insane,, and if two runners get on, with no outs..
it will be very difficult for Wacha to concentrate.
the nerves may be too much..

couple of big hits.. and the floodgates might open.

    remember Game 6 in St-Louis, NLCS...*9-0

    over Kershaw

    Kershaw better than Wacha

all i'm saying is Wacha had better*WATCHOUT!!

I'm probably the only one, but I really do think that St. Louis already has this series in the bag. And I'm almost never wrong when it comes to MLB...so I guess maybe I'm due to be wrong. But I really can't see how Boston can possibly win either of these 2 games. I don't think either game will be close, and I don't think Boston will score more than a run or two in either game. Look for St. Louis to have each of the two games wrapped up by the 5-6th inning.

Good luck Boston, you're gonna need it.

i'm leaning towards boston in six games. if it hits seven games, it wouldn't surprise me if lester pitched a few innings. all hands on deck. not breslow though.

Doesn't really matter how good Wacha is tomorrow. The Cards couldn't score a run right now against a minor league pitcher. They haven't had any consistent offense since early September when Craig went down.

Their pitching has been stellar, good enough to beat two great pitching teams in LA and Pitt. Too bad they can't score a few runs against a mediocre red sox staff.

If boston can score 1 run against Wacha they win in 6. Done deal.

I took st. Louis series at +340 last night hoping they win tonight so I can hedge tomorrow night and make some easy cash! Only way I can lose on this is if st. Louis wins tonight. I really think boston wins the series but hope it's not tonight!
