Dodgers / Cardinals Under 5.5 in Game 6

I THINK this ties the lowest posted total of any MLB game in history, although if someone can find a 5 somewhere, please post it as I may be wrong about that. But back on point, I am actually on the Under despite the low number. You don't need me to tell you about Kershaw, who has now allowed one earned run in 32 innings over his last five starts and two earned runs or less in 15 of his last 16 starts, which is mind-boggling. The key to this 'under' here though is Wacha, who has allowed one run on six hits in 14 innings over his two post-season starts with 17 strikeouts vs. three walks, which sounds, well, Kershaw-like! Most importantly, I think the kid is the real deal as he made nine regular season starts and allowed TWO runs or less in seven of them.

I don't see the Dodgers hitting Wacha. Kid is just too damn good. Unless Kershaw goes 8+, the cards will put up a few runs.

I found 6 games in 2011 that had a 5.5, all started by Kershaw (in addition to Kershaw/Sale in 2012), but still did not see a 5.

    I think September 14, 1988 Braves / Dodgers was a 4.5
It was in the middle of Hershiser's ridiculous six consecutive nine inning shut out streak.
Dodgers and Hershiser won that game 1-0

I could be wrong, but I know there was a 4.5 total in the middle of his 1988 streak of scoreless innings.

Not bad at all, but I went with the +100 on the 5.5. Non-Americans can get u5.5 +104 at Pinny.

The Dodgers have never seen Wacha before game 2. It will be interesting to see how he does a second time around. Personally I think (and hope) the Dodgers get to him tonight. This one goes over.

He pitched game 4 against the Braves on Monday, and then game 2 on Saturday.

He was on short rest in the nlds, but not here

Weather is good and what I think is most important is the game is in STL. I could see the Cards get taken for a couple of runs but no more than three at Busch.

I have posted 5 winning dogs in a row for MLB currently yest I posted play Bosox (Yest) and parlay it to the under in Kershaws game today. I feel its 1-0 or 2-1 both pitchers will battle hard. Kershaw is the best in the game the other kid is on fire right now. Im not betting against Kershaw but I think he gets edged out today I hope not I have Dodgers +550 series

I agree with the thought that Wacha is due to be pounded. But who knows. I thought after his flirt with the no-no he was gonna get lit but he proved that he is different than many other pitchers.

    that' good to hear.

but betting under on 5.5 is playing with fire.

score could easily be 3-2 at the end of 5th and you have to sweat the rest of the game.
