So I'm sitting on my couch hoping Kimbrel would come in to start the 8th to face Puig. I see Carpenter and I had a bad feeling in my gut and I was right. You gotta take a chance and bring in Kimbel and see how far he can go. I know its traditional for a closer to pitch one inning, but it's not like Kimbrel hasn't never gotten 6 outs in his lifetime. Just because he's a closer doesn't mean he can't throw 15 more pitches to get 3 more outs. You have the day off tomorrow. Take a risk. Fuk
