    Stumpage is correct...

    'Bullet Bob' Turley is the one and only Orioles pitcher to lead the American League in strikeouts, doing so in 1954, the first season the club was in Baltimore after moving east from St. Louis. Turley recorded 185 whiffs in that 1954 season, going 14-15 with a 3.46 ERA, not bad for a team that lost 100 times.

    Always thought Palmer would have had at least one K title, but maybe he was more of a groundout guy. Then again, if I remember correctly, he was aorund during the Nolan Ryan era for the Angels, so I guess that made it hard for anybody to crack the Ryan Express K Dynasty.
