See where I am going here? This is one of the at least 60 wins for the Cubs tonight
    I see you, Nash.

    Like I said GL.

You're one of a few stand up dudes on this site. I wish you the best with your bet.

Bad bet Monday, good bet Tuesday, bad bet Wed......

Short and crappy card tomorrow, taking the say off.
I'll come back strong Friday. I am ashamed of this one though.

I put all my opinions out here though.

    surprised at the pregame lines
Good job, Jake lost the plate, and that's that.

I watched Arrieta pitch against the Cards last time out. That's why I bet them tonight.

This guy must have a Ryan Leaf brain.

First inning he was brilliant, then all of a sudden he thinks he's Maddux and loses everything

That sentence pretty much sums up his entire career.

I doubt there's much going on between the ears of this one.

I was more than happy when the O's got rid of him. He's a mental midget.

    *off topic*
I am in Ct. every year we go to the LLWS, we can always beat the teams our size, but we get knocked out by Cali and Tex every year.
Last year, my town, Fairfield Ct. went far, kid threw a no hitter, lost to Texas in winners bracket, got knocked out by Cali.

This year, (Westport Ct.) represent New England.
Westport (actor Paul Newman's town) is 5 miles south from me.

Same thing, we go into tonight undefeated.
Winners bracket game, we have to face California again.
Cali is way to big. We take our baseball here seriously.
When Matt Harvey pitched HS ball here, baseball fans flocked to see him.
Charlie Morton too, when he started, we all watched.

So anyway, we are like "here we go again, got to face the big boy kids"

3-1 Westprort Ct. 2 innings left.
This is gigantic in our parts.
    (It's on ESPN)
    We love our baseball here.

A good up the middle makes a decent ground ball pitcher good, and good one great.
A good up the middle defense can save a GB pitcher 3 hits a game.
All the super teams had superb up the middle defenses.

    1984 Tigers
    Trammel, Whitaker, Lemon, Parrish

Dan Petry does not win 18 games without them that year.
Milt Wilcox does not win 17

    Big Red Machine teams

    Bench
    Joe Morgan
    Concepcion
    Geronimo

1984 Tiger team was the best defense up the middle I ever saw.
I know of the Red teams from books and films

makes sense. just from what i saw at the corners 1b and 3b (morrison and ed lucas) cost the marlins 1-2 runs tonight. terrible players. going to search for best mlb defenses, maybe find some sort of website

Trying to figure out how this Russell cat has an ERA of under 3.

Literally every time I see him pitch, he's getting shelled.

    Hey Nash:

Siily's spreadsheet had CHC as a dog (+116) and Over 9.
When this happens, I bet his have favorite, and it wins.

Sorry, I did not talk you into playing that.
