    I don't follow MLB but I just saw something that amazed me on ESPN concerning salary

    CC Sabathia makes more in 1 year than the entire Astro team combined...WTF

    and you know whats even better about that? the yankoffs luxury tax from last year was 19.3 million (the penalty for going over the salary cap) and thats only a few mil short of the 2013 astros payroll of 21.1 million

    Wow! another amazing thing is how little TB Rays are paid as a hole compared to others yet they have a really good record...i guess payroll doesn't always buy wins in the MLB
