Add Beuhrle as well he's just as hopeless. I'm a Jays fan and can't stand any of these guys getting paid to go out there time and time again and get shelled to all parts of the park. I would rather see some kids come up and give up the same amount of runs or more than see any of these guys pitch again in Toronto. I feel sorry for the pen they have done amazingly well this season especially considering the innings they've had to get through, tonight is going to be another 7IP from them.

The three promising start of season trades:
    Johnson 5.66 ERA
    Buehrle 4.83 ERA
    Dickey 4.32 ERA

Add to that Happ, Morrow and the others that have attempted (Romero and Wang were so bad it was actually kind of funny) and it's embarrassing. Esmil Rogers is the only starter with an ERA under 4 and it won't be for long the way he's going.

Jose Reyes has been great, Melky okay but all in all give me the Jays from last season at least then losing all the time was kind of expected.

^ I would keep Dickey, but would get rid of Johnson and Curlee.

Once you have a big contract, you hardly care about the performance. That's the state MLB, NFL and NBA are in, with MLB being the worst. What is worse these folks laughing at dugout after giving 5 or 7 runs, and they know either way they would get the fat pay-cheque.

Really a bad, bad team all around. Bunch of dinged up over achievers and washed up pitchers. Get the hitters out on their front food and call it a night. Dead Red or hanger can't hit shit all else.

I just came back from the Jays game, and have to say Johnson is a complete gas can... gave up so many hits with 2 outs. He just doesn't have his stuff anymore. Hope Jays don't resign him...

That might have something to do with the loss of the DH, and also in the World Series they would be facing the best NL team. On average, the AL East vs. the NL isn't really close.

    Bump for this.

And this is against a AA Houston Astro lineup.
Dickey got shelled (even though Jays won) last night.

There is no execuse for this outing.

Pitchers IP H R ER BB SO HR PC-ST ERA
    J Johnson 5.2 7 7 7 2 8 3 105-65 6.08

3 HR's allowed to those kids.

I like Maxwell, Altuve may be a top tier second baseman in 2 years, like Pedroia class.
    'Stros have some pieces.

This has to be one of the faster pitcher collapses in recent years.

Lmao at the price on Johnson. His only win was against Rockies who have never won in Rogers Center.

TV revenue and merchandising is where the money is. It's like a new car dealership. There is little money in the original sale. The money is in the service department.
