    Here is the bottom line kids. Steroids or whatever you want to call them are going to become accepted and used eventually. The only case against them is the health side effects. I'm not even sure if that is the truth. Global warming anyone. I don't assume anything from people with an agenda. Perhaps before there were side effect but Barry Bonds, Sammy So So and Roger Clemens seem to be doing fine. If you can take shit to improve your athletic ability and your penis and head stay the same size, good for you. If won shrinks and the other expands, sucks for you. Either way, your body. Your choice. Your reward or consequences.

    What the NFL players in the 70's took to keep playing when injured were 100X worse than steroids and the pos NFL has done nothing to help them with their medical issues. Just waiting for them to all die. Get some perspective. This is just another media driven scandal. I don't know Ryan Braun and don't give a shit about Ryan Braun but if anybody should be suspended it is that senile Bud Selig for urinating on the game of baseball because he can't keep it in his mail diaper.

    Being a Brewski fan this worked out fine for us. Our season was over weeks ago, Braun's thumb needs rest and would bother him the rest of the season anyway, and he only gets 65 games which will not run into next season. Obviously his reputation is shot but at least we got a fighting chance next season. This is the best case scenario for the team as a whole. If he appeals and loses, which is what would have happened, he loses 2/3 of next season. I got no problem with today's result. We'll take our .290 singles hitter and move on...

    when will baseball wise up and get rid of guaranteed contracts, do like football does just guarantee the signing bonus, make people produce on the field to get paid, these 10 year contracts guaranteed money are crazy, what motivation does somebody have to come to the ball park when they are getting paid for the next 10 years no matter what they produce on the field
