    Anyone bet 'Grand Salami'?

On my site, the MLB Grand Salami odds are this:

    Under 81.5 runs -115
    Over 81.5 runs -115

I LOVE the Under... with 9 games on the slate, you would need all the games to go average over 9 runs. Also, if you have a couple games that go low scoring (3-2, 2-1, etc), you increase your chances by a LARGE margin.

Last day there were 9 games was June 13... 67 runs were scored that day
Before that, previous day with 9 games was June 3... 53 runs were scored that day

No pitcher going today has an ERA over 6.00. Anybody agree on Under 81.5 runs?

Eating a salami sandwich. If I want more when its gone, under. If I'm full, over. Under looks good though.

Its a winner now that the tarp is off in Baltimore. Never forget the 'sandwich angle' when capping!

Yup. I'll have to keep looking at this prop... hopefully the line is off by that much again and I can take advantage

16 games slated for today. Over/Under on runs is 138.... that is an average of 8.6 runs per game. This isn't one that I instantly love (like the Under yesterday), but I'll look a little deeper on the pitching matchups and see if I can find some value either way

Looked at this prop again today... Here's what I see:

Over/Under 101 runs. 12 games on the slate, with a few #1 starters going. Need the games to average under 8.41 runs, so a few 3-1 type day games would set us up nice for the night games.

Teams put up some big numbers yesterday, I like them to regress a bit.

I'm going to put a couple units on the Under 101 runs. BOL today boys

Another winner yesterday. So far with this prop bet I'm 2-0, up 4 units

Tonight the Over/Under on runs is 125.5 with 15 games on the slate... I see most of the pitchers going tonight have decent ERA's and then you see Kerhsaw and Strasburg going - have to think those games are lower scoring. You would need all games to average over 8.44 runs per game. If the Cards and Cubs keep it low in the first game, I like my chances again.

I'm betting the Under 125.5 for a unit. BOL to ya boys

The only thing you gotta worry about with this prop is that one or two really high scoring games can ruin it for you. Most of the games can be low scoring, and that one game that goes 12-8 can just ruin everything. Tread carefully with the grand salami picks.

I assume a rainout or shortened game voids the entire bet?

Unfortunately, yes. All games must go 8.5 innings for action

Well, my record so far on these is 2-0-1... my last bet was No Action due to a game being postponed. Back at it again today...

I really like Under 130.5 runs today. With 15 games on the slate, you would need more than an average of 8.7 runs per game.

There are a lot of #1 starters going, which means some good ERA's. After the all-star break, hoping the bats are a little cold and we get a few 3-1, 4-2, type low scoring games to win this one.

Betting 3 units at -115. BOL today boys

Got it with B365 but its at 130.5 now - Bit worried they renege on the bet as they have settled of odds at 1/150 before.

Total number of runs was 118 on Friday... easy winner. My record now is 3-0-1, up 7 units.

Today, 14 games on the slate with O/U 124.5 runs set as the total. Ton of average pitchers going today, 12 with a losing record. Could see a lot of runs today...

I do hate to bet the Over with each game needing an average of 8.92+ runs per game. Will lay off today and find a better total soon. BOL boys

I've bet Grand Salami's last season and was dead set on tracking them to see if I could find any correlations but didn't have the time this year due to wedding so laid off all together...

Good luck with them. Hope you do well ...

Back at it again today. Record stands at 3-0-1, up 7 units. The O/U at my book is 141.5 Runs, both at -115.

You would need an average of more than 8.8 runs per game if you bet the Over. I seriously doubt that with 16 games on the slate today, that you wont get a couple 2-1, 3-2 type games to bring that average down.

Last time there was 16 games in one day was 7/13, and there were only 104 runs scored. I'm going to bet 3 units on the Under. BOL today boys

I bet the salami almost everyday. Just for fun usually only throw $100-$200 on it. I am also on the under tonight. Best of luck

Horrendous way to lose a Salami. 7 runs to spare bottom of ninth in Twins\Angels game...
Angels tie it up with a single run bottom of ninth...No problemo Im thinking until they give up 7 top of the tenth to lose the bet by hook...

If Holywood wrote the script you wouldnt believe it.

That was one of roughest losses I've had in a WHILE. I felt great about it before I went to bed... Woke up to see the Angels/Twins 10th inning. ended up with 142 runs, lost the bet by a HALF RUN. Sh*t.

3-1-1, up 4 units now. O/U is at 128.5 today. A lot of good pitchers going, but I'm too pissed about last night still to make a knee jerk reaction bet. Will look again tomorrow

Posted at 118. Books starting to adjust it down given the number of Unders hitting. Today could be an over day.
