I just think the books are being exposed a little on this line, personally I think this line should be set around the key number of 7, so we are getting a point of value and/or a push for insurance.
-Jeff Locke has been outstanding lately, 6-1 record, 2.19 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 60/36 K/BB ratio in 82 1/3 innings, he limited the Dodgers to two hits in seven scoreless innings and a walk in his last outing. Cincinnati have struggled against Locke, Cozart is the only Cinn. batter to record a HR off Locke, and even then the split stats are small w/ the edge to Locke.
- Bronson Arroyo has been as solid and dependable as ever this season, posting a 6-5 record, 3.27 ERA and 1.15 WHIP through his first 93 2/3 innings, he's posted good numbers at home, besides his matchups with STL - who has essentially owned him this year.
-The public is relatively split on this total so far, I'm seeing more buy-orders to the 'under' and I think we are in a strong position with this total set @ 8, especially with the WHIP both pitchers have demonstrated recently. If control is strong early, this game could go to the 4th scoreless, those 1st three frames are important, setting up a position for the bullpen, of which both are strong.
