    he just isnt a big league caliber baseball player...

    he just doesnt fit in. Every other starter on that team has tremondous potential.

    Andy Dirks is a real serviceable low cost MLB player. What the fukk do you want. Everyone worth 20 million. When you gotta pay Miggy, Martinez, Fielder et al and are looking at having to pay Jackson a ton of jack you gotta have some serviceable guys that are a bargain.

    He is miscast as a leadoff hitter but has pop, can run and is an average defender on the left side.

    He and Tuiasasopo's stats combined are far better than many full time left fielders.

    Dombrowski knows.
