    Just took Angels to win AL Pennant at +1500

    risking $200 to win 3k.

    they are finally hitting and their pitching staff will be better once Weaver returns. They also will likely add another SP if they are still in contention by the trade deadline. If they get into the playoffs they definitely have a good chance of making a run.

    This is the worse statement I've heard in sbr. Inconsistent hitting and some of the worse pitching. They won't make it to the playoffs and if they are lucky they will place 3rd in their division. Rangers have been consistent and are getting back a Ton of pitching. No reason for that bet and a blatant waste of income.

    I like it, except for the fact that Scioscia's a dolt and their bullpen's a trainwreck. Neither of those factors will go away.

    I'm a huge Angels fan, and, sadly, I don't think they have a chance to make the playoffs.

    Too far buried + this pitching staff is really bad, from top to bottom.

    +1500 should have been the odds on them making the playoffs, not winning the pennant.

    Not sure their pitching will be good enough. Will be a tough injury for Weaver to come back from. Hanson will always be inconsistent. Theyll need another arm. Maybe two

    Still no one has answered my question, who do the Angels have that they can give up for a big name arm at the deadline. They have one prospect in the Baseball America Top 150 and that guy is batting below .200 in Double A.
