    Matt Garza returns

Anybody got any info on how he has looked in rehab stints at all? I'm not going to pretend like I have been anxiously awaiting his return or anything but was wondering if anybody has seen his stuff lately or what kind of pitch count he will have etc...

Matt Garza (lat) will return from the disabled list to start Tuesday's game against the Pirates.
Garza threw six scoreless innings in a rehab start with Triple-A Iowa earlier this week, so he shouldn't be on a strict pitch count in his season debut and will provide an immediate upgrade to the Cubs' rotation. His return means Carlos Villanueva will be relegated to a bullpen role. May 18 - 10:59 AM

I wasn't excited at all. I was just curious if anybody had seen or heard how he has been throwing lately.

The above scouting report I posted was inaccurate, since Garza was pulled early in the 6th.

Then the Cubs bullpen did their thing, and blew the game wide open.
