    oh god, thats a blockbuster trade right there, i thought both these player should have retired after this year

    vinny should have, but Lawrence could pitch fairly decent in washington, because of the ballpark alone.although i do have some serious doubts that he will.

    Well I think that getting a pitcher never hurts...Lawrence is not great or anything but you can throw him in the bullpen, spot start, trade bait whatever...

    Castilla's best days are behind him. I think Wash got the best of this deal personally.

    They sure did, because they have Vinny's replacement already lined up.

    The move paves the way for Ryan Zimmerman, the No. 4 overall pick in June's amateur draft, to start at third for the Nationals next season.
