Care to elaborate?

Baseball, in my opinion, is one of the better sports of which to bet parlays. A four team parlay with one dog and three favorites can bring in a nice return. I would just avoid betting on games where two proven Aces are pitching (ie. Sabathia vs. Hernandez tomorrow).

I understand the randomness factor of baseball, but it's only a factor. It's not as random, as say, flipping a coin. A batter or pitchers success behind the plate or at the mound is a blend of luck, skill, attitude, health, and rhythm. It's also influenced by the playing surface, wind, humidity, pitching, fielding, and momentum. All of this, everything, comes into play every game and if you do your homework, you increase your odds of winning your plays.

Baseball is random but not always unpredictable.

Worst all year LOL....hardly...Well said Vodka....basically Im just saying on any given day a few "bums" can have a few things go their way and its not that crazy....im not saying "hey its random, there is no favorite"...but when someone has a 6 game parlay....chances are some RANDOM BS will occur and something "crazy" will happen causing one of your teams to lose....Error ect

Literally. Worst all year.

The guy claims that

A Hall of Famer and a scrub are 85% equal.

He's using batting average to claim this and sets the scale from .000 to 1.000. While this is the actual scale, no qualified hitter has ever hit .000 over the course of the season and no hitter has ever hit 1.000. It's the same as saying that humans share 50% of our DNA with bananas. While it might be technically correct; it's pretty meaningless.

That being said, I agree baseball is random. It's just illustrated incorrectly in that article and has nothing at all to do with parlays.
