Roy Halladay to have shoulder examined

Let me save you some doctor bills Philly. Examine his drop in velocity and non ability to get any movement on his pitches- not to mention his knack for putting the ball right where everyone wants it. Love the dude ,but dont use shoulder pain as a reason for your hardships so far. I hope he does bounce back- would love to see him join the 300 club, but he may be headed for the 300 runs given up in one year club.
    Good luck bud

When Halladay got slapped around in a minor league during the preseason I texted a buddy that Halladay was done and do to avoid him in Fantasy leagues. I hate the fact that Halladays career is nearing the end, but love being right.

good call - it was weird seeing him get passed by everyone during my 4 drafts. It's sad in a way as you stated to see our big dogs in decline mode. Tho I do believe he has game left in him,but really needs to find himself again. A different team may be. And truly he may have some arm trouble that he just hasnt wanted to address. I shouldnt have questioned him there, was half azz joking. We all know he is the ultimate competitor and wants to out there every turn he gets. I hope we see him have some more lights out years. Tho getting to the 300 win club isnt looking to great right now. Tho maybe if he joined the Yanks it could happen- you can have 4-5+ era there and still win 15-16 games a year. But again I expect him to get it together again. I do hope he gets the hell outta Philly tho.

On another note regarding drafts- was shocked to see Lynn no being taken until the very late rounds. I myself passed and only got him on 2 of my 4 teams. One team doing the best- currently in 2nd place. My winners league is going to be a bust or as of now looks so. 11th place and way behind in a lot of offensive categories. Pitching doing well tho. Tho there is time to make a come back- Hamilton and Reddick I believe will have big summers. And have missed significant time with A.Ramirez also benched Espinosa few wks ago and picked up Betancourt and he did me a litlle justice. Also put to much faith into Rodneys stellar last year and he has been close to himself this year ,but has lowered his ERA by 7 pts since April 10th. Really hope to get this team going ,but focusing on my winning team because I do believe I can crack the top 50 board real soon. I have been offered some trades that actually would have benefited me well ,but declined. I always try to ride out what I drafted and obviously will pick up a solid player from waivers ,but try to make very few moves unless forced too.
Have you ever tried Fantasy D##l? I numbered that bcause I've noticed you cannot list a companys name here. I cant believe I just became aware of it last fall. Tho still have only played a couple free tourneys. Really looking into doing it on a daily basis. Very intriguing especially if you have a gut feeling about a few players on certain days and get them for a low roster price. I think you need to really play around for a bit in small $ tourneys to gauge what guys truly know their stuff verses the guys that just like to bet. there are definitely some knowledgeable people on that site or just extremely freaking lucky, but do believe the big dogs know their stuff well.

All original drafts ,except just picked up Gregg to try and get a few saves
Cant wait to Jonny back and for Curtis to come back hopefully by the end of the month- actually in 2nd place today- a few catergories are close among a few guys and the status changes daily.

My Winners league I drafted hung over and was not all prepaired. 11:30 am Draft after being up till 6am - yuck of a feeling
dissapointing to screw up a winners league.

Did pick up Pettitte and Colon here, but havent even used them- may use them in spot starts or wait for a player on a hot streak and drop one or the other.

check into Fantasy D##l if you already havent or if it peaks your interest- actually some MLB fans here can get 2gether and hold our own tourney- just a thought- can make the entry as low as a buck i believe -not sure about the max,but some tourneys are large.
    Peace
