    Are Boston Teams going to get a "boost" from the Marathon Tragedy?

    That perception angle is always added in these situations. Right or Wrong.

    Namely Bruins and Red Sox.....
    Celtics would only be allowed to beat the Knicks but not the Heat as per NBA rules and that's already stretching it.


    Books already adjusting. Bruins were +385 to win East about a week ago...
    AFTER 3 straight losses they are now +285 to win East. Stanley Cup from +900 to +600

    well the Red Sox are 2-0 since then.

    But i guess you could say the Astros and Rangers may get a boost from their owns states explosion as well.

    But the thing is these guys shouldnt need extra motivation they are getting paid millions to play a kids game.

    Absolutely not. Celtics will win 1 game if they're lucky.

    Bruins are a solid hockey team regardless of this so called tragedy. They will win a round or two

    Bruins should have won that game last night and they got s.h.i.t. on. If they can't close out a game like that where the crowd is dying (too soon...maybe) for a win, then they aren't to be trusted.

    thats it really. i took bruins 500 to win about 6500 for cup and 150 to win 1000 for east. i took STL for almost nothing just 30 bucks but thats it. just took the bruins.

    i hit the bruins in 2011 for 7000 also. took them in november at 17/1 about 400 to win 7000. When i met bergeron during signing event i told him about the bet and he laughed. I told him i won 7grand and said, "You believe they had you at 17/1? No respect. Thanks for the 7000! hahaha"
