Betting MLB overnight vs day of game

I've been doing all my MLB betting overnight as 5dimes includes reduced lines on the ML and more often than not the line is usually better overnight. However the past few days checking back the lines the next day I have continously realized I am getting bad lines on games. their are spots where I am getting better lines but not by much. I mostly bet dogs so it looks like it might be better to bet the next day. Obviously its impossible to always get the best line however I would like to be able to bet the best number available more often than not. So do I continue betting overnight or wait till the next day?

I know what you mean. I do the same thing. Just be patient. I mean not even a month into the season. I suspect bc nba is winding down people are going to bases. It will return to the norm during nba playoffs. After that, it isll be all bases and the reduced lines will def make a diff. JMO. BOL

I rarely take the overnight in bases. I've seen too many things happen on the day of the game that can change its outcome. A few examples include starting line up change, weather change, and significant line movements. All last night and this morning, I was leaning the Red Sox today. After seeing the line movements, twitter feeds from some of the players, and several other factors, I decided to put a unit on them today.

Sure, had I taken Red Sox last night, I would've gotten a better price. However, too many people are so damn busy hunting down value, they are blind to the fact that you must pick the winning side first. Then worry about value.

Another example is the Wa/Mia game today. I heard through the grapevine that some of the Wa players had come down with the flu. I heard this news just a few hours before first pitch. Whether or not this is true, it was good enough for me to pass - especially with that shit stain Haren starting.

i'm interested to hear what others think. IMO, it's hit or miss betting overnight. If you think the line is way way off, then it might be a good idea to get the the bet in the night before as it should move if you're right. All that being said, IMO there is no right/wrong way to do it; if you're getting bad #'s stop. If you're getting good #'s, keep on doing what you're doing.

agreed, just wait it out. its a risk you take.
example, giants where at 1.86 yesterday so i pulled the trigger on them, then all of a sudden litterally like 20 minutes later it went to 1.99.
also as stated above, lineup changes are key, the jays odds went down, as soon as lawrie was activated.
also weather is more then likely to change, so the over under etc is affected.
unless you see extreme value in over night then pull the trigger on it.

only lines that i see worth taking at night are, nhl ones. the value seems to drop byt the time you wake up.
    goodluck all.
