Opie can we pound Darvish tonight??????

One of my favorite plays is bet against the public ESPN Sunday Night Late Game

Its kind of a system play for me over the year it makes good money.
Public is backing Weaver and the Angels tonight.
Im betting Dravish should I hammer????
Both pitchers are so/so vs the clubs both had good openers.
Darvish 14k's ride the hot streak an hope

Is 2 units enough or More?

Darvish will be fatigued and isn't his finger banged up?

Overworked in the first start, a lot of media attention, against a strong Angels Lineup and I get +$$$????

    Ok

Rangers always light up Weaver the first time they face him for the year, last year got him for 8 runs before the 2nd inning was over

This, Weaver has also been below average at Rangers Park in his career. Hamilton struggling, hurts the overall lineup for LA. Gimme Texas at a short price

I got Darvish Total Ks Over 7. Juicy @ -145, but he whiffed at least seven Angels in all six starts against them last year and LA already is in the Top 3 for most strikeout prone lineups with 46 Ks in five games. And that is without facing a big time K pitcher since they got owned early by LAtos and Cueto for 8+ Ks each in the 1st two games.

Also pitching against a lineup that had Hamilton, Napoli and Young. Different lineup and better squad backing him.

Actually, your response is more "hamburgerish" than what LK said -- especially given how many pitches Darvish threw for early-April, and what happened in the game (near perfecto). I don't think it's out of the ordinary at all to expect Darvish to struggle tonight.

I'm about to take over Players Talk.

With idiots saying a pitcher that had a week off may be fatigued, it shouldn't be hard for me to do.

Face it ...kid, that was a stupid statement.

Darvish with another gem tonite. On his way to proving himself as one of the best in the game (which he undoubtedly is.)

Pujols woke up yesterday with the 2 jacks, but Darvish isn't Matt Harrison.

I'd play the Rangers with confidence.

Ignorance? Really? For pointing out stupidity?

Isn't pitcher fatigue talk usually reserved for the home stretch, or during the playoffs, pitchers starting on 3 days rest?

Definitely not in April, and especially not after pitching in a week.

This was a classic HAMBURGER quote.

I deserve kudos for pointing it out.

Weaver has won his last 12 starts in April

Weaver is a monster... Pedro only pitcher to win more start straights in April... Weaver breaks streak tonight

Again, Darvish threw 111 pitches in an early-April start. Look up how many guys have done that in the past decade or so and get back to me. Add the fact that he was one out away from a perfect game, and a physical/mental letdown would be understandable tonight -- especially given LAA's lineup.

And BTW, Darvish pitched on Tuesday -- not Sunday. He's had the regular four days off.
