I'm a little sour after losing yesterday's Angels pick having a 2-1 lead in the 7th and not holding on. Angels are gonna lose plenty of games with that horrid bullpen this year, but their offense is going to make up for it and give them more comfortable leads down the road. Fk'n bastids.
I'm betting Reds today even though they pounded the Nats 15-0 on Friday.
Normally I don't like betting a team who scores 10 runs the night before while shutting a team out or giving up 1 run. It's less consistent than you would think probably winning the next day after an explosion like that.
You get a lot of bad bettors seeing that and getting on it as a public pick the next day and I try and avoid public plays. The line has went down a little since coming out, so I'm comfortable with it.
It's a risky play with Leake cuz he's pretty much a stain.
Most of my picks are based on pitchers. But Detweiler sucks also so the Reds should keep pounding the runs in. Nats offense hasn't been so great. 11 runs in 3 games vs. possibly the worst pitchers in baseball (Marlins) was definitely unimpressive. And of course a goose egg last night.
GREAT home value here for all the value hunters like myself.
Bullpen advantage Reds and always a great home team. Chapman will have 50 saves this year. Bank on it. Reds play lots of close games.
Reds -112
Get some!!!!
