    Big Al should be the closer. He stuff is absolutely filthy and he has the swagger to be a good closer in this league.

    It was a cold day and they want to break Verlander into the season not by having him throw 120-130 pitches BUT he should of pitched one more inning imo.

    Agree in theory, but I don't think he gets ahead of hitters enough and doesn't seem to quite be there yet mentally. Hard to anoint an inexperienced closer on such a veteran team that expects to win 90-100 games -- that's why I didn't understand the Rondon talk in the first place.
