Do you think Taipei will park the bus since they have all but advanced already?

I don't think they'll completely park the bus especially in front of their home fans. They still would like to win the pool. On the other hand, I don't think they'll go all out either. Hard to say. Might play the total instead.

Gouvea was cruising along nicely and just hit a brick wall.
Brazil might not even cover the runline.
    Hoping for a double-play here.

Holy f**k, if I'm not going to win the runline I hope China comes back to beat these Brazilians.

I think your'll be fine. 5-2 end of 8. The Brazillians are too shell-shocked to hit anything in the 9th.

I lost the bets but I'm proud of Team China. I'm Chinese-Canadian.
They will get an automatic berth in the 2017 WBC.
    Congrats...

    Korea/Taipei o7.5 (+116) Pinnacle

I think there will be some runs scored especially for Korea who absolutely needs it and I don't expect Taipei to get shutout.

The Japan live bet line at mid-3 is at (+205). That's good value for Japan just down by 1.

Had a terrible Tue & Wed.

Thursday plays I'm locking in now on Pinnacle. Juice should rise higher and higher later.

    MEX -1.5 (-138)
Game played in Arizona so that means many Hispanic, Latin American and Mexicans will be attending which will make a great atmosphere for Team Mexico. I think USA will win Pool D and that leaves either the Mexicans or Canadians to advance as runner-ups. I'm picking Canada not just because I'm a homer but because we have a more balanced team than Mexico and Joey Votto will be in the lineup.

Anyway Italy will have John Mariotti, a younger and better pitcher on paper on the mound vs the older more experienced Rodrigo Lopez with average to below average numbers who bounced around 6 major league teams. Once the starters are gone Mexico will have the much better bullpen.

Batters?? Advantage Mexico. They should cover the runline.

    VEN +1.5 (+102)
2 of the best teams in the entire tourney. Both sides loaded with MLB experience with great hitters and great pitchers but I'll take Annibal Sanchez over Edinson Volquez any day. Volquez had a terrible spring training. The Venezuelans can win outright even if not should keep it close.

    CUBA -1.5 (-145)
I think Cuba is much too strong here. They are so focused on going to San Francisco. -1.5 just seems a bit low.

Good luck man. Only one that worries me is Cuba. They been playing great ball but the Netherlands can be this year's sleeper. I still think Cuba wins but should be a close one.

Felix Hernandez turned down the chance to play for his country. Probably don't want to risk injury after signing that massive contract with the Mariners.

Baseball-reference.com is good site I use for stats.
