    Guys don't forget...

Verlander won't go 9. Leyland will have to make a decision with 2 guys on and 2 outs in the top of the 6th and Verlander will get yanked for a pinch hitter.

Teams win at AT&T by manufacturing runs.

It's the World Series, Bud. Pitchers don't bat. Both teams will have a DH.

Pretty sure the DH rules are dictated by home field, Bud.

trying to help out the forum because there are people that think this^

    Game 1 Pitchers bat
    Game 2 Pitchers bat
    Game 3 DH bats
    Game 4 DH bats
    Game 5 DH bats
    Game 6 Pitchers bat
    Game 7 Pitchers bat

take it into consideration while capping.

Yes. It happens. If you care to reference it's Major League Baseball Rule 6.10(a)(1).

I think it could be a factor in SF.

Man, that'd be a really tough decision for Leyland to make. If Verlander is dealing with so much as a 1 run lead I don't think they go to the pen. That pen is pretty bad and if you have the best pitcher in the league pitching I think you have to keep him in there even if it's a tie game. If they're down a run or two I think you're probably right.

Wow. And the AllStar game is a meaningless exhibition.

if it's any other starter leyland will pinch hit but with verlander i think he gonna stick with him as long as he's still effective or pitch count reach 130-140.
