It is hard to go against CC at the price being offered but with the Yankees hitting, .158 this series and .200 for the playoffs and scoring so few runs, and with Scherzer 5-1 (1.52 ERA) in his last 10 games (last year 15-9 (4.43 ERA), 16-7 YTD (3.74 ERA) ) I am taking a punt on this run line with the Tigers. Outside of Valverde, Tiger pitching has been phenomenal. Scherzer has been impressive at home this season (7-3, 3.51 ERA) and has great numbers against Yankee hitters, he looked good in his last outing against the A's and should be on a short leash with all of the firepower Detroit has in the bullpen. Even if CC throws a gem ,this one looks low scoring and close but we will see.
