    Benching A-Rod and Swisher reeks of desperation. He's trying so hard to make someone else the scapegoat. Fact is none of the bats, except for maybe Raul Ibanez', have done anything important this postseason.

    Great at-bat by Nunez, homer or not.

    A-Rod's bat speed is gone. Guys can't be 35 or 36 hitting home runs like Bonds anymore unless they let players get back on the juice. We've been trained to think otherwise since '94. The correction will come, and it's starting here. I applaud Girardi for taking a stand.
