    Is Girardi hanging A-Rod out to dry to save his own skin? It's a joke to bench him again. It's a team game and he's not the only bat not producing, making a scapegoat out of your highest paid player when you should be trying to win at all costs is foolish.     I don't blame Girardi. It's not like they haven't given Arod the benefit of the doubt. Also he has had ample opportunity to swing out of his slump but to no avail. Yankees are fed up with the guy.

    Haha how do you bench A-Rod in this spot? He hits well against Verlander, and he isn't the only one slumping. Actually he has more hits this series than Cano, why no talk about benching Cano? Cano looks more lost than anyone I've seen in a while, he is so pull happy they just pitch outside and he rolls over on every pitch. A-Rod can't be surprised, he is gonna take the blame for being the 100 million dollar man. They will bench him and when they lose this series blame him for everything

    The Yanks should eat most of AFraud's contract and deal him to the Marlins for a few low level prospects in the offseason.

    In other words, bend over and take it in the 2 hole just like they make all the small mkt teams do at the trade deadline (See Ichiro and Bobby Abreu "trades" to name just a few)
