washington is solid at home ml

    lets do this .....
edwin jackson facing his former team will have extra motivation. nats just got embarrassed on the road and want payback home fans will be a factor. Chris is past his prime and being a game 3 starter has set in for him he knows it and his confidence will not be the same.
    lock it up

Only problem with the Nats is their offense is off or on, very inconsistent. The Cards have a great offense that can always put up runs. Man, this is a coin flip more than anything. I may lay off or play small.

dont disagree with your play but you think CC will lack confidence tomorrow??

he has the most experience out of anyone on that field in this type of game.

his coaches have a lack of confidence and that is felt by him....he would have been the starter a few years ago...age will catch up to him.
nats have a big advantage at home coming off a split in st.louis they know the position they worked so hard for. The split was key for them and they are loose

Don't think a team will be loose playing their first home game after decades of losing. It's real hard betting against the Cards.

It's hard to call. You'll know exactly what's going to happen after the first inning. Edwin Jackson has a good slider but if he can't throw it for strikes he's going to get knocked out of the game before the first inning. If he gets that pitch going he will throw a gem.

dont know what to expect from Jackson. He got LIT last time out but the outing before that he was good.

Carpenter is 1-4 in his last 5 starts. Hard game to call. I gotta go with the over.

I don't think it's Carpenter's age that is affecting him as much as it is him coming off the injury and surgery. He's still rusty and I don't expect him to pitch lights out anytime in this postseason. With the O/U being 7.5, I have a strong lean towards the over.

Strongest pick yet? You're an idiot if you really believe that. Line is 50/50 and it may be the strongest pick ever? Let me guess, u flipped a coin and it landed on heads so you're betting Nats right?

If a game is a true "coin flip" then you should take the dog and the odds.

I think the money line will move as we get closer to first pitch. If you like the Cardinals, wait until right before the game to get down. I see a lot of people jumping on the Nationals.

The Over literally hit in the first inning last time Jackson pitched, which was against the Cards BTW. Both teams are pounding the ball.

keep telling people its 50/50 they might start to believe you.......this for sure a bigtime edge for the nats...they proved they can win on the road, the nerves are gone. if anything they will be inspired by the home fans. i would never bet cardinals on the road vs a team that has took the homefield advantage int their hands....they only have to win 2 out of 3 instead of 3 of 3, in other words they already proved they can win in the playoffs, and they in relity have bigger fish to fry

you dont know stl very well if you are sayin they have the consistent offense in this matchup,,go look down cards season and you will see it littered with a bunch of gms where they dont crack 3 runs then a explosion like the other day, then right back to struggling again..i do think jackson is the type of pitcher they like to hit but please dont say nats offense is inconsistent while arguing for the most inconsistent offense in baseball by far....

well at least ive seen ignorant comments on both sides now...holy fukkin shit, are you serious? they are tied 1-1 with the defending ws champs who still have the best lineup in the nl, in their 1st playoffs series like ever and they are already looking ahead with "bigger fish to fry"...gtfoh...

You're out of your mind. If anybody tails you they're being led into a burning house. Don't get all philosphical. You lost. End of story. Nobody wants to hear about how there was a purpose for you losing this game. Lol. Cmon...

You didn't even cap the game. You didn't know about Jackson getting lit by the Cards his last time out. You're just embarrassing yourself kid. Stop while you're ahead.
