He never got any at-bats and he had an injury type thing that was bothering him. The guy is a veteran class act big time pinch hitter. You have to let him start occasionally, and at least let him start the season getting more than 1 at-bat per 10 games. That's classic Bobby Cox incompetence.

My vote goes to the failures on the Braves they can't trade for $10 herpes infested hooker. KELLY JOHNSON AND DUMBASS FRANCOEUR. They both have no business in the Braves lineup the rest of the year. The past 3 years they have progressively gotten a whole lot worse, a liability in the field(except for Dumbass's arm), and their hapless manager keep throwing them out there with no regard for a possible playoff run.

Sure the guy is a face for the club and a very decent fielder but I cringe when he has to have a clutch at-bat. He will not have another 300/30/100/30 year again or close to it.

Dontrelle Willis: 10 Mil a year and can't hit the broadside of a barn.

Jeremy Bonderman: 12.5 million to ride the pine and come out of the penn.

Carlos Guillen: 10 mil a year to do absolutly nothing since 2006. Really, he has done nothing.

Nate Robertson: Makes 7 mil a year. Pitches like a 12 year old. Can't find the strike zone, when he does it is in the seats behind him.

Magglio Ordonez: Almost 19 mil a year to hit .276 2HR and 21 RBI's through 251 AB's. Can you say, CHUCKED?

As of right now, the top 5 most useless players offensively are:

    #1: Brian Giles .559 OPS

    #2 Emmanuel Buriss .570 OPS

    #3 Wily Tavares .572 OPS

    #4 Orlando Cabrera .576 OPS

    #5 Yunesky Betancourt .578 OPS

The Lock, not sure that OPS really is indicative of the value a player such as Willy Taveras, for example, brings to a lineup. He's been in a horrible slump since the end of May, not arguing that part of his game right now. But slugging really isn't part of his game, so why bring that into the equation?

If you have a speedy guy like Taveras stealing bases, playing solid defense, all he's got to do is have an on-base mark from .325 up to be of value to a team. OPS means more to me for the hitters that don't have an abundance of power or a lot of speed.
