    There is some smart money coming in on the Mariners tonight. The moneyline is +162, yet the RRl is only +205. I'm not going for the okey-doke. Going against the public on this one and pounding the Mariners+162. I want some crumbs since the Bastard on the Phillies didn't do his job today!

    why would you think that dice k can give you 6 flawless in philly vs this lineup off a loss? he looks horrific right now and i hope this rain delay doesnt make him a scratch the rest of the way. he had a great k/bb last out, but still got lit up for 5er in 5 inn with 10 hits. i would be shocked if the phils didnt touch him up. howard, utley, victorino, ibanez, jroll - thats a ton of lefties that he has to face.

    i certainly didnt expect bastardo to get lit up that quick, but obviously he's not immune to this horrible pitchers park. this is not la and sd (where his first 2 starts were)

    With the delayed start due to rain it gave me a moment to reflect on this play. The Mariners have finished 39 of their 61 games with 5 runs or less. Of those, 18 were wins (30 total wins on the year). Seattle is accustomed to winning tight low scoring affairs with their solid pitching but lack of offense. I'm using this for the opportunity at a correlated parlay, taking the Mariners ML and the under 10.5.

    Dex, it's just I have watched him pitch some real strong games coming off of disaster games. He can be like that, and when he rolls, he rolls. He has gradually thrown more of his pitches for strikes, and most of the Philly hitters haven't seen him. My point was that he's unpredictable, but I do agree that he doesn't look good, and it is entirely possible that Philly can get to him.

    anyway, sounds like they will play per some blogs im looking at on cbs

    i hear ya mac - he can be lights out when hes on, i just cant see it vs these sluggers. hes only thrown 14 pitches...i wonder if he'll be back out?
