Medlen is money, and will handle the pressure tonight at home. Lohse might not crack, but he won't win the game for the Cards. He will do just well enough to avoid being chased early but he'll give up at least 4 over the first 5 which should be enough for the Braves. Look for Atlanta to methodically small-ball the Cards out of the post-season and back to St. Louis.
At least they'll have football to watch in St. Louis as their Rams have a legitimate and underrated defense. They haven't been able to win games without their offense but I think that turns around tonight. The Arizona Cardinals have been riding high but it's a big TNF game tonight and trying to chip away at the stout St. Louis defense is going to be tough, especially on the road in the Edward Jones Dome. I see a hard fought and close game that may be decided on the final whistle.
