    buying your way to a championship in baseball is just not the way to go anymore.

    with less PED's at this point, most of the high priced free agents are signing for well beyond their peak years, and decline fast.

    its back to building a good farm system through drafting, international signings/academies, trading for young high end prospects.

    MLB doesn't want this, that is why they instituted some of the new draft $ rules and did away with FA compensation picks

    but is a leading ERA of 4.56 ERA the worst ever? I mean that includes bullpen...thats HORRIFIC!
