Discussion...any reason why NOT to take Balt +

Mariners are 4-13 since '04 trying to avoid a three game home sweep as a favorite. They are 1-4 SU when Felix starts!

Value has to be on O's side tonight. They are still in a pennant fight, King has struggled last few starts, and they are just simply the better and hotter team right now. With that said though I'm afraid to touch it after the marathon both teams had last night. GL!

Ok..I'll start again... Mariners left a shit load on base last night.

They are 0-11 since Aug. 19th 2008 following a game where they left 13 or more on base. Getting a beat down by an average of 3.1 runs. King is 0-2 in this situation (team).

RP...thanks for the insight...marathon and what follows is contingent for both sides.

Ok I'll add again...you would think that the Mariners would be pissed after multiple beat down from another team through out year. In fact, they are 7-20 SU this year trying to revenge three loses.

Jmon personally I would don't put any stock in stats/trends from years past. How they are playing at the moment has much more value to me. And yeah I realize the long game last night has equal effect otherwise I would be fading them both tonight vs another opponent (I did well fading Pirates about a month ago in their 20 inning game the next day in Diego). Like I said though Balty has the steam and something to play for and King not looking too scary lately. O's would be my play!

Hard to back Saunders...yet he is good against conference foes that are low scoring <=4.2, supporting a 20-8 SU record (team). Likewise 15-5 SU, <=.255 BA (team).

Mariners don't score and seem to never support King. However how do they fare vs. lefties? Saunders has not looked bad last few starts!

For the the past 8 years, all my plays are based on trends and systems based on past years. I am currently up 32 units for the year and currently placed 13th out of 72 (hitting 47% ytd) in LT's year end challenge based on such...but thanks for your input.

Good for you Jmon if it's not broke then don't fix it. For me it's just a matter of dealing with completely different teams, managers, injuries, etc. But like I said kudos to you

smalll play on the under 6.5 for me. Saunders been pitching well lately and Mariners don't hit especially when Felix is pitching. I just hope he has one of his stellar outings..

Thanks RP...I have database filled with box scores. The only thing that is keeping me from hammering this play is Balt ability to close a three game road sweep. They are 11-25 SU (1-5 this year) in trying to do so. I still think it's work a minimal bet.
