I have a question regarding Bet 365 alternative 4 1/2 line rule, here is the rule states:
4½ Innings Lines - Bets will be settled based on the score in the middle of the 5th inning (e.g. not at the bottom of the 5th), unless the team batting first is ahead (with any run line applied) at the start of the top of the 5th innings or score to go ahead (with any run line applied) in that inning, in which case the team batting first will be settled as the winner.
Could anyone please help me to explain this rule by using Mets and National games? I actually bet mets+0.5 and lost... this is my second time to bet the 4 1/2 line
The Nationals batted first in the top of the 5th inning and they were ahead by 1 run, so they were winner of the first 4 1/2 innings. It did not matter what the Nationals did in the top of the 5th inning.
