    PuckIt - Fade the Pirates Remainder of Season

    Hey All - it's becoming obvious that the Pirates are playing, well, like the pirates. This is the point in the season that they go downhill each year, and I will attempt to profit on it. I started this last week against the Astros. Each game I will play the ML of the opposing team, and the RL or reverse RL of the opposing team and will keep track of it here. I will be risking 1u on the ML and 0.5u on the RL.

    Here are results thus far:

    1. Astros ML +180 (W)
    2. Astros RRL +280 (W)
    3. Cubs ML +160 (W)
    4. Cubs RRL +240 (L)
    5. Cubs ML +155 (W)
    6. Cubs RRL +260 (W)

    Will be playing Reds ML and Reds RL tomorrow.

    Fade the Pirates ML/RL Record: 5-1 (+7.15u)

    we shall see - I think it will be profitable as long as the linemakers still consider the buccos to be favorites ever again after going 2-4 against the Astros/Cubs at home.

    Nice hits on the cubs i dont think anyone thought the cubs wouldve taken 3 of 3 against anyone due to their awful away form.

    He's been decent as of late, but the Pirates bats haven't been doing it. I expect a Cinci win under the posted total. I will fade them every game from now on regardless of who is pitching

    Yup. Due to the juice tonight I am putting 1/4u on the RL at +150 and the same 1u risk on the ML at -153 in the hopes to avoid a close win eating my profit.

    Thanks! I'm a Buccos fan, but I like money better. The fade is the play right now and will be for the rest of the season I suspect! I would be amazed if they finish over .500.

    Hopefully they still have some respect with the books and they wont get too juicy for at least a few more games.
