    Verlander's last 7 starts

    47.2 IP, 25 runs, 50 hits, 3.97 ERA, 1-2 record.

I don't know if it's the innings catching up to him, or if it's Kate Upton's vag or what, but I'd be careful laying -160 on him right now against a team trying to avoid a sweep throwing their ace. I know KC roughed him up last time out and skewed those numbers a bit, but he hasn't quite been himself the entire second half.

Sale hasn't been particularly sharp during that same stretch either, but I honestly think this line's inflated by at least 15 cents.

Kate Upton's vag took 4-6 mph off my fastball.

Just trying to get a better understanding of lines here. With everything you mentioned, how can they be such huge favorites. I would think -130-140. Why so inflated?

Women weaken knees -- especially women like Kate Upton.

Because it's Verlander, and the Tigers, like lunch said, have been dominating the White Sox.

If it's a coin flip game, then you should definitely be on the White Sox. That means a -110/-110 by your standards is +155/-175, which would give you 65 cents of value.

I'm not even saying it's a coin flip game. I just personally think you're getting Chicago at a really good price here. Whether or not it's for a reason, we'll see.

    No value on Detroit.

Tomorrow, Anne and the Tigers getting -220 hosting the Indians.
No value for days when it come to Detroit.

With that said, gonna enjoy this game, good ol' fashion pitchers dual between aces

Verlander looks sharp tonight after kind of a rocky first inning.

those numbers were clearly inflated by his 8-run performance against the Royals in his previous start.

his 6 starts before that? 2.79 ERA.

But that last start vs. KC did happen. You can't ignore that. And it was his last start before Sunday.

I was also making the point that he'd only won once during that stretch; the Tigers rarely hit for him when he pitches. Other than Young's golf swing home run, the same rang true last night.
