    How does this game NOT go over?

    When the Dodgers acquired Adrian Gonzalez over the weekend, I was determined to play their games over until the linesmakers made an adjustment. Their lineup is suddenly stacked, and their pitching is anything but. Since the acquisition, they are 1-0-1 to the over. Small sample size, I know.

    Tonight's matchup of Josh Beckett and Jeff Francis should supply plenty of runs. Are we to believe Josh Beckett's return to the National League is going to suddenly cure his woeful season? It might help, but his stats this season have been dreadful. And as for Jeff Francis, he has an ERA near 7 at home for the year.

    Dodgers/Rockies over 10.5.

    Glad to see you on this. I'm on over 10. Don't wanna sweat it. The only thing that's not built into the line is weather or not Josh Beckett gives a crap about baseball and winning this game. He very well could. But...that doesn't mean he's any good.

    These are my two concerns, too.

    A motivated Josh Beckett could be scary. And yeah, the weather. Hopefully it's not too damp. Dampness plus the humidor could result in bad news.

    On the ov 10 as well and I have not seen any reports of rain. However we do have a nice little 8-13 mph wind pushing out to center. I think both teams score tonight and get this done. Let's just hope L.A. does not leave 100 guys on base again like yesterday. GL

    I liked this play when I originally looked at lines this morning, but dodgers only hitting .233 against lefties and Beckett should be motivated again plus he has got to be an automatic out when he is up to bat. No play for me but gl to you.

    Just straight bets, unless they're free plays, then I parlay.

    Pretty much everything is 1000 points, no reason to overthink things. I'm pretty much a flat bettor, here and with real money.
