The Yankees and Tigers take each other on in Game 3 of their ALDS tonight in Detroit, with the Yanks the right play to go up 2-1 in the series.
The Tigers send 'The Gambler,' Kenny Rogers, to the hill in the Motor City against the Pinstripes hoping to go up 2-games-to-1 in the AL Division playoffs.
Rogers performed well at home for Detroit this season, going 12-3 with a 2.80 in his team starts. His 4.00 ERA at night, however, was more than one run higher than his efforts in days starts in 2006.
With New York 39-23 away in the postseason since 1993, and Rogers 2-12 with an 8.14 ERA in his MLB career against the Yanks, we'll look for New York to continue its winning ways during the month of October here tonight.
