    Giants get Hunter Pence...woo hoo

    This is a huge trade for giants. He is better than hanley ramirez.

    Finally, we have a decenet lineup after several years.

    If we could only get a closer...we can contend for the world series.

    Sheirholtz is actually a big loss...guy is a great bat off the bench.

    5 hrs flight from Philly to SF, minus the 3 hr time difference. It's doable.

    I think it's really unlikely that Penny would be moved into the starting rotation. Timmy is bad right now, but Penny has looked pretty bad himself coming out the pen for the Giants so far. What they really should do is use a four-man rotation and keep a tighter cap on everyone's pitch count, but nobody has the guts to try that anymore.

    I agree about Schierholtz. Underrated hitter with one of the best right fielder cannons in baseball.
