Not sure where everyone will be stationed for the games today, but I'm assuming the Crew Chiefs will take up their position behind the plate in the openers. Just a guess...

My picks for the umpires most likely to screw something up are Ed 'Bat Guano' Rapuano in the Oak-Min series and Larry Poncino in the Tigers-Yanks series. Rapuano gets my vote for the worst umpire to be working in this round of the playoffs.
They are pushing Johan's pitch count, but most because of the strikeouts. Still, Big Hurt took him deep and little Marco Scutaro added an RBI double for a 2-0 Oakland lead in top of 4th. Zito has been solid with a walk and no hits, facing minimum nine Twins so far through three.
I don't trust Street here at all. Would have kept Barry in to pitch the 9th.
BTW, how f'n annoying is Joe Morgan. Never realized how repetitive he is (and he was working Giants' broadcasts for awhile as well). I don't want to hear his final thoughts on this game, because his entire commentary has been a running conclusion.
Nobody likes my man Lil' Joe. Then again, even I have to admit he was a far superior second baseman than he is a broadcaster.
Echoing Owned's remarks about it being an excellent start to the postseason. Was pulling for the Twins, but still an outstanding game. Big, HUGE win for Oakland topping Santana in Minnesota. Definitely their series to lose now.
