Mr. Crumbs Again Favorites for Sunday 5/10/09

My height day is another day for taking the Marlins HEAVY again. We're playing with the houses money on them so why not? They have the edge at every point.

    Marlins-110 HEAVY Better team again
Cards-105 payback against their ace, Volquez.
Wahoos-115 Me and Jimbo agree on this one
Cubs-110 HEAVY Brewers may be feelin' themselves after yesterday and get caught slippin'

I've been on the Fish for awhile now, no sense going against them now.

    FL +102 ML, 2 units

Tailing your CHI, hoping Marshall can give them 7 strong.

    CHI -107 ML, 2 units

I was going to auto-fade the Yanks, but Joba is on the hill, so it is a no play.

    NYY, no play.

I am leaning on KC ML (and/or the RRL).

Garza and TB +122 ML, is a pretty good value for him.

No problem with competitions and all, but the only issue here is that y'all don't count RRL's and I play one basically every day. That alone takes volumes away from my style of play. Get rid of that silly rule about not counting RRL's and then I'm all for it. When I'm right I am trying to win 4 units off the top. I'm not Mr. Crumbs for nothing

Wahoos= Cleveland Indians. You can't be serious about wagering on MLB if you don't know the team's alternate nicknames. I'll be -7 with a moneyline of -330 if this guy is facing me in the tournament

    Parlay $110 to win $575

    I love these 3 fella's....

    1st at 1:30 EST: NY Yankee's/Baltimore UNDER 9 1/2 -110

Both pitchers have been pitching well lately.... Whips of 1.50 and 0.96 last 3 starts. Also Chamberlain's whip is lower on the road, and Uehara'a whip is better at home. This has the makings of being a low scoring game.

    2nd at 3:10 EST: Florida Marlins -110

Much better pitcher on the mound....Much better team as well.... This line will most likely go up as well, so get it early.

    3rd at 8:05 EST: Boston Celtics +6 1/2 (Bought 1 1/2 pts) -140

Rollin with you guys on this one.....Boston should play well in this game, and possibly win....But I'll take the 6 1/2 pts to be safe.

    Good Luck fella's

CK tomorrow the pitching match up favors Detroit, I saw on Accuscore still has Cleveland winning like 60% of the games even with the offense being as bad as it has been...

Clevelands pitcher got tagged last time out against Detroit, and Detroits pitcher pitched well.

I guess you are betting on the Fact that Cheif Wahoo had a players only meeting tonight that looked something like this

How did we ever win 8? It's a Miracle !!

i really like the reasoning behind your whip system dexter.. and garza plus money is always a good play.. beckett will give up the runs tomorrow.. two AL teams facing each other equals a lot of runs!!!

...come on you dont know what WHIP is ?....walks and hits per IP...so anything below 1.00 is very good anything above 1.75 is bad... it is a different stat compared to ERA....I mean some pitchers are just lucky to get out of a jam and some just dominated the opposing team...so the WHIP eliminates the "good fortune" factore...hope that helps...

    Beunos dias Mafioso...
Wow.. seems like we've got some guys that are still learning... It's all good boys...
I'll enlighten on the Wahoos.... excuse me... Cleveland Indians.. play.
Just as Dexter laid out some "automatic plays", there are also plays that are automatic, in my opinion, when certain situations occur...
One such situation is to play against any pitching staff that has thrown two consecutive shutouts...
They just can't hold it it together for a third straight game... I play this situation every year...This situational play is very strong and has occurred twice so far this year and is 2-0...

    4/17 Pittsburgh v. ATL win (3-0)
    4/18 Pittsburgh v. ATL win (10-0)
    4/19 ATL smashed Pittsburgh (11-1)

    4/29 Cincinnati v. Houston win (3-0)
    5/1 Cincinnati v. Pittsburgh win (4-0)
5/2 Pittsburgh beats Cincinnati (8-6)...(Pitt took 8-4 lead into the ninth)

    5/8 Detroit v. Wahoos win (1-0)
    5/9 Detroit v. Wahoos win (4-0)
    5/10 cash money! LOL

I only joined SBR in March and I'm missing sth on some of the terminology. Being in Europe all this time and not betting for such a long time has taken its toll on knowledge.

    Thanks again guys.

Does anyone else see the value in the under in the Yankee's/Orioles game? 9 1/2 is a lot of runs imo for 2 pitchers that have been pitching this good... Just wondering if I'm alone on this one
