Trying to watch this Cardinals/Brewers game

Were the Cardinals out late boozing it up last night or what? This is one of the flattest, laziest efforts I've seen from a team all season long.

Shit effort up and down the lineup. How do you commit 3 fukking errors in the first inning, unreal. Team has been ass since the ASB. Should've known this was a trap, public all over cards.

Give up 4 unearned runs on 3 errors in the 1st inning, and then continue to strike out, ground into double plays, and basically underachieve against a mediocre brew crew bullpen. I'm hating myself for making the bet on the Cards- very rarely lay juice, but when I do, I almost always regret it. Oh, well. NEXT!

Furcal looked like he was trying to throw the game by himself in the first inning. Caught stealing after drawing a leadoff walk, then two errors in the bottom of the frame.

they were the same way last night as well. game was theirs for the taking, same thing, struck out with RISP with no outs 1 out, grounded into DPs. between these last two games they must have stranded atleast 15 RISP. they are awful right now.

On top of everything else, Tichenor's got to be the worst home plate ump in the league. If it gets to the catcher, it's a strike.

I don't even have a bet on this game. It's the only one on TV here at the moment (for some reason, picking up the Fox Midwest channel with StL announcers, who sound like they're about ready to fall asleep themselves).

they have made an awful awful brewers bullpen look like one of the best in the league. same thing with the two starting pitchers. Wolf last night, had no command, if the were patient enough they would have drawn out a ton of walks but chased everything.

than this rookie today, last time i looked he had something like 72 pitches in the 4th with 38 strikes and 32 balls yet they dont do jack.

Beltran is about 2 for his last 30, Berkman looks like hes back to his Yankeee days.

    auto fade.

Agree -- they're in horrible form right now. Should be tearing this Brewer bullpen apart.

STL's lineup is great for the NL

    1) Furcal
    2) Jay
    3) Holliday
    4) Beltran
    5) Freese
    6) Berkman
    7) Molina
    8) ????
    9)???

Craig off bench. Pretty sick 7 hitters there

That 9th inning was a perfect microcosm of St. Louis lately.

Ball gets away from the catcher, Beltran gets caught standing on 2nd base.

Holliday strikes out on a pitch that went 55 feet.

K-Fraud can't throw a strike to save his life, so Berkman swings at the first two pitches.

No Coin, you know as well as I do that the Cardinals are a .500 team in a bad division.

Only reason they are in a playoff discussion is because the NL Central is half mediocre, half bad.

I'm still trying to figure out how this team won it all last year.

Talk about a bunch of guys overachieving at the right time.

The same way the 2006 team won it. Steroids and La Russa selling his soul to the devil.
