Weaver at Yankees: Does baseball get any better than this?

The best pitcher v. the best hitting team, it's gonna be great! Does anyone besides me find the 9.5 total to be high?

Angels hitters are hitting .322 lifetime v. Nova (Nova has a 5.11 ERA in four career starts against the Angels) and Yankees hitters are hitting .272 lifetime v. Weaver. I can't find any other reason for such a high total.

My lean is towards the Yankees here because they're rolling and Weaver is 2-2 with a 5.83 ERA at the Yankees.

    Any thoughts on this one?

The Yankees have been home dogs once this season (I'm pretty sure they're gonna end being dogs here).

That game was April 27, Verlander v. Nova. The total was 8.5 and the Yankees won 7-6. With the total being so high here it looks like the oddsmakers are expecting a similar kind of game:

gotta tail the Halos here. they have been right there with the Yanks every game but blow ups in late innings. Weaver will get it done today.

My play is Angels under 4.5 runs. I said the oddsmakers seem to be expecting a high scoring game, the Yankees can explode anytime but I'm expecting a low scoring game.

Yanks may sweep, but all that likely changes in the p'loffs ... NYY is built to sell tix and be in 1st Place during the reg. season...

the ASG was a little preview of what is in store for the Yanks come October.. lotta those HRs dry up... and all of a sudden*
hitting % with RISP comes into play... *they are 3rd from last in AL i think in that category.. maybe MLB

actually he's spot on. They won't be hitting as many HRs cause they'll be facing elite pitching. Same reason theyve been bounced the last two years
