    well no one with his stats will get paid till arbitration years anyways. even then it will will take until he is an unrestricted free agent. Was he a first time FA last year or will he be this year?

    I dont know anything about Morales I was just curious what he was paid and Googled it, ya know you think these MLB players all make a fortune and many do but theres a ton making 500k or less a year

    well most make the minimum ( a lil under 500k) for the first 3-4 years. no matter how good they are,then they can get arbitration in years 4,5,6 then they can sign anywhere as a FA

    but a team owns a rookie's rights for 6 years after they debut in the majors. and don't pay them shit for 3 yrs

    Very true, Sox are makin a fukin killing, sell out every game then pay about 50 mil in salary must be nice

    ehh their payroll is certainly not $50M... Adrian makes $21M, ORtiz $14.5, Beckett $17, Dice K $10M...

    Dead right, ive never paid attn to rookie salaries but **** they dont make shit for first 3 years, hope ya dont get injured your first 3 years damn
