Ok still did sh1ty. But i hit a big dog in the Rockies which soften the blow a lil. Like i said im gonna do this all week to see if it works or not. I thinkit would have worked out the same bcuz i hit Rockies at almost 2-1. So i think either way would have lost 1 unit.

Why did it all turn out like this for me? I had so much promise. I was personable, I was bright. Oh, maybe not academically speaking, but ... I was perceptive. I always know when someone's uncomfortable at a party. It became very clear to me sitting out there today, that every decision I've ever made, in my entire life, has been wrong. My life is the opposite of everything I want it to be. Every instinct I have, in every walk of life, be it something to wear, something to eat ... It's all been wrong.

My name is George. I'm unemployed and I live with my parents.

This notion of "fading yourself" is not new (then again, what is...?). Typically, a bettor runs into a cold streak, looks back on his recent picks, and realizes that had he gone the other way, he'd be in the black.

It's a nice premise. However, other George on Seinfeld, I don't think you or anyone else will have much luck. First of all, when you run into a warm/hot streak, the plays that you like (and thus fade) will hit. Secondly, don't be surprised if, little by little, you start mind-fukking yourself. In other words, you just might tell yourself and anyone else who will listen that you like Team A (and therefore will fade Team B) when you really really like Team B but don't have faith your capping so you blurt out Team A.

    Dizzy, yet...?

And I can't predict the future but I'm staying away from the Twins. Some of my reasons include:

    Blackburn is on the mound.

Twins bp pitched 3 innings yesterday for a total of 46 pitches.

    Twins closer Capps is questionable.

Mauer is dealing with a bruised thigh.

    As for Reds:

Lost 3 straight. I think the're pissed off and hungry for a win.

Bailey may not be the disappointment others claimed.

Reds bp got a full day's rest. On the 20th, they pitched just under 4 innings with 68 pitches thrown.

Line movement: Nothing fishy that I found; just minor spikes followed with natural corrections since release time at most of the major books.

Obviously, the Twins can win. Hell, the Pads beat the Dodgers early in the season with a healthy Kemp and Ellis. Anything is possible. Some things are highly improbable.

I know doing this can make u crazy but what the hell im good money wise i dont bet with what i dont have so what the hell always wanted to see what happens. Hey Eockies beat Phils last nite as big dogs. It just seems latley crazy sruff is going on in the MLB. Teams that u look at and cant find anything positive numbers wise to make u think they can win end up winning. Pitchers that have sucked all year throw amazingly. So what the hell lets see what happens worst case i lose and give everyone a good laugh. Or i could be a great fade for u guys.

I personally think this is a good exercise - not because you should fade yourself but it may open up the other side of the brain to make you look at games at a more deeper level thus it will make you a better capper in the long run. A few years ago I went against myself in almost the same way and it opened my mind. I ended up winning against myself as well for a couple hundred bucks (at 1st). The more important factor is that it taught me to look at games more open minded and it helped. As I evolved over that short week of doing it I found myself picking better games and losing to myself lol to the tune of 2k ish. Although it cost me 2k I think I became a much better capper at reading lines and not just hoping a big idiot will throw a strike or hit a home run randomly.

    Good luck with your journey
