Been a while since I've been on these forums but got tied down with school 2nd semester. Anyways it's summer now and even though I've always been a football and basketball capper I haven't been able to resist tossing a few bucks on an MLB parlay just to get some action. I would call it gambling much more than capping, but I've been extremely active in a big-money fantasy baseball league this year so I'm more in tune with players and teams (other than my Dodgers) than ever before. I'm not risking anything close to where my bankroll would take a hit. The amount of $$ I throw on these parlays over a month would add up to 1-2 single game college football bets for me.
That said I put together a few parlays along with future bets for me to keep an eye on for the rest of the year. It's only June but I think there's some value to be found in props and futures.
First my long shot divisional winner value bets as of 6/14.
Mets +1800 to win NL East
Pirates +1000 to win NL Central
Orioles +1150 to win AL East.
In addition I parlayed these 3 just in case I hit the jack pot and got odds over +261000. Not too bad.
Second my divisional winner parlay. Here I picked each division winner throwing odds out the window just straight up who I think would win each division. This parlay pays +9750
NL East- Braves +250
NL Central- Reds -120
NL West- Dodgers -115
AL East- Rays +200
AL Central- Tigers +110
AL West- Rangers -330
Third my divisional field parlay. I factored odds in a little on this one trying to get the best value for each team I think would NOT win their division. Made a couple picks out of spite (Giants, Yankees) but my honest belief also backs these choices up. This parlays pays roughly +450.
NL East- NOT Marlins -485
NL Central- NOT Pirates -1500
NL West- NOT Giants -175
AL East- NOT Yankees -150
AL Central- NOT Indians -390
AL West- NOT Angels -335
Agree/Disagree? Thoughts?
