    Magic Dice's POUND THE BOOK PLAYS...from $200 to $5K in three days

    I've been on a hot run fellas the last 3 days, turning a $200 deposit to over $5k in a span of 3 days. It's been a crazy mini run here and per request, I'll be posting my plays in this thread here on out. Hopefully it can help out any players on a bad run(I've been there many of times). We're currently on a 13-2-1 run past 3 days:

    Truth be told, It's been a combination of several very lucky plays and a few solid winners here and there. My specialty is baseball and tennis. We pounded the books this French Open, going undefeated and profiting several K's. I'll either be in the tennis forums or this MLB forum. We've also got some other very talented tennis cappers over in that forum. Be sure to check them out as Slam season is here.


    Now with all that said, let's try and continue these POUND THE BOOK plays!!! My goal is to get the $200 to an incredible $10k in less than two weeks. It's going to be very difficult from here on out fellas so tail at your discretion. The law of averages will dictate that I'm probably due for a losing streak here soon but I'll try my best to prevent that with some solid plays.

    Here is the play of day:

    BOSTON OVER 3.5 TT /-130

    Beckett and Johnson have been pitching well over their last four games however I think Boston holds a slight advantage in this matchup. The Red Sox have played well on the road so far this year, posting an above .500 record 15-12. The reason why we're taking the team total instead of Boston straight up is due to this ....in addition to the Marlins stinking it up lately, they have allowed at least 4 runs in all previous four games , all resulting in losses.
    Even though Johnson's pitching well, the Sox will scrap out a few runs on him and get to the bullpen. Sox are glad to take a break and get of a Fenway for a bit and I believe the road should benefit the offense. The OVER 3.5 is a manageable number for the SOX even if it's against Josh Johnson tonight.

    Tailed, I like this a lot. The SOX will hit HR's off Josh Johnson tonight, and at the new Miami field, I see this as a very good possibility. He's got OK numbers, but I can't give him too much credit as he's only faced weak NL teams.

    The Toronto is a decent play but not a POUND play for me. I added it in that parlay for kicks because I hit a similar $75 parlay for $1975 on Saturday. Good Luck!

    wow congrats man BOL tonight took your advice went with BOS over 3.5 took the Tor game under 8 as well i like morrow to have a shutdown game as well as jackson will probably pitch well

    The 3.5 is a key number. Shop around and try to get the 3.5. Heritage still has 3.5 /-130 as we speak. Don't let that book take away that hook. It could result in a profitable day.

    Good luck on your plays tonight Parlay. I didn't like any plays in Tennis today. A lot of it got rained out and the books get to hold on to your money possibly for days interest free

    I took this bet as well but I am a little nervous. They say Johnson is a real nasty pitcher at times. I have a good feeling about this bet although. Lets get it!

    I went Bos moneyline and Bos over but Becket may have been out playing golf last night again. He doesn't look right early and I think Miami is eager to get something going finally, being at home and all. So a combo of both. Becket will hopefully straiten out here in a minute but Boston winning the game is getting slimmer and slimmer as we speak. It could still be done obviously and it may so hang in there.

    Well, Johnson has been solid. The Sox needed to make him pay for the shaky start, but they let him get into a groove.

    Oh well ... not over yet, but it's only one loss. Not the end of the world.

    Yea this was a kind of poor pick. I am by no means trying to call the poster out, because I backed him and took the bet but there were warning signs all over the place for this one. Johnson has pitched great recently and contrary to what one poster said above, he has had minimal home runs hit off him. Also in this new park, which is super deep, it is going to take a belter to leave the park. Boston has been slumping really. Never bet over when two ace pitchers are pitching rule of thumb. Anyway lets see what happens with the Angels.

    last time johnson faced the redsox, he allowed 3 HRs, well, I guess at the new stadium, he's pitching better. With interleague play, it feels like I'm forcing my plays... too unpredictable for me at the moment. instead of pounding the books its like our wallets are getting pounded lol

    I wouldn't back the Angels here tonight either. LA has the better pitcher to start. Second, Angels have been on a run and have had the bats going but the pst 3 starting pitchers they have faced had ERA's above 5. One has an Era of 21.00. Dodgers at home, after being on the road, good mood to see their families and such. I wouldn't bet on LA. I am not saying I am for sure backing either, I am just saying LA is not a sure enough deal. However every time I post a pick on this forum, I lose. So fade me probably.
