UMMM. Hell yes!!! why wouldn't you? Major edge there. You are getting 3-1 odds. I would bet the max.

Well, you can't really "forget about the juice." That sort of dictates whether it is worth a play or not.

For what's it is worth, I like the Tigers tonight as small dogs (forget +2.5). Neither pitcher stands out, but Homer Bailey is the weaker of the two. Smyley has actually pitched well on the road while Bailey, not surprisingly in Great American Ballpark, has very poor numbers at home. I like the Tigers to win a rare series (they have won 2 of their last 15 series!).

It's a roll of the dice to be honest. Smyly really struggling and Reds hit lefties pretty well.

No. Teams have figured Smyly out and are attacking him early in the count. The stats are off the charts in the last 4 games against this guy with respect to early count and first pitch swings. The kid is no threat to shut down lefties either and is very average against righties.

Two very high fly ball ratio pitchers starting the game tonight. Both are no stranger to the long ball either.

We'll see how well the Reds have Smyly scouted, because you're right: the AL has pretty much figured him out.

Hitters have made adjustment to smyly now he just has to make the proper readjustments...he still is very skilled. Far more than homer bailey. These Sunday night ESPN games are hardly ever blow outs so well see
