Ryan Vogelsong had one of the best months in baseball in May, going 3-1 and in 5 of those 6 games he never allowed more than one earned run. He has been really good with his flyball/groundball numbers only allowing four homers all season and continues his fantastic run from last year (13-7 2.71 ERA) after he got back from pitching in Japan. The Giants are red hot going 12-5 in their last 17 and are closing in on the Dodgers.

The Cubs are basically one of the worst teams in baseball, and on the road their numbers are even more dismal. They are now 3-15 in their last 18 games.

3-15! 6-20 on the road for the season

Samardzija has put up some great numbers but looking at the Cubs offensive numbers, I am really wondering where the runs are ever going to come from to support him. Vogelsong doesnt have great numbers against the Cubs but this Cubs squad is one of the worst hitting teams I can remember. The under ( first 5) looks pretty good here looking these two rather weak offensive teams and two solid starters, The Giants are taking up whre they left off last year with the high percentage of victories of 1 run but there is no way in hell I am touching the Cubs on the road even with a run and a half handicap.
